the LARK sings

Here is home for the musical endeavors of songwriter and multi-instrumentalist RobertM. Various projects - ‘the Lark sings’ or 'Soltarium' - have their space for original music here.  But he can also be found sometimes in coffeehouses and bars doing sets of originals and deep cuts covers or other times sitting in with a band as sideman and bringing forth a groove on Chapman stick or bass.

For RobertM, the plan has always been to create, bring to light, reveal truth ....... In a world that takes darker and darker turns, music is a way of shining that light.  

And only light can drive out darkness....hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that.....

 Like to the lark at break of day arising from sullen earth, sings hymns at heaven’s gate.
