the LARK sings

Here is home for the musical endeavors of songwriter and multi-instrumentalist RobertM.  While sometimes found in coffeehouses and bars doing sets of originals and deep cuts covers or other times sitting in with others as sideman on Chapman stick or bass, this is the place for various projects - ‘the Lark sings’, 'Soltarium', as sideman – to have their space for original music.  For RobertM, plan has always been to create, shine a light, reveal truth....... In a world that takes darker and darker turns, music is a way of shining that light.

And only light can drive out darkness....hate cannot drive out hate, only love can do that.....

What you listen to here aspires to that….like to the lark at break of day arising from sullen earth, singing hymns at heaven’s gate.
